Jak Hutchcraft

Documentary filmmaker and journalist from the UK who works with VICE, The Guardian, Sky, The Independent and others. He writes and makes films about counterculture, community and music. His new documentary feature 'Fatboy Slim: Right Here, Right Now' will be screened at In-Edit 2023 as part of the non-competitive International Panorama section.

Mita Suri

Mita Suri

With a background in community cinema exhibition, Mita Suri started working in Sheffield DocFest as a volunteer and is now the Film Programme Producer, supervising the delivery of the Film Programme for the festival. She produces the annual Youth Jury programme, is responsible for the external contacts including filmmakers, national film institutes and distributors, managing the submissions process and coordinating DocFest's year-round activity outside of the festival. Her previous work experience has been in health services' management, youth leadership initiatives and as support teaching staff in schools within the UK and abroad.

Torsten Neumann

Torsten Neumann

Following studies in English, German Literature, and Theatre at University FU Berlin, Neumann worked as a free-lance journalist, specializing in film. In 1994, he co-founded the Oldenburg International Film Festival regarded as one of the world’s leading Indie Festivals, “the European Sundance”. In 2001, he produced the compilation film "99euro-films" featuring German directors such as Esther Gronenborn, Matthias Glasner, and Michael Klier. Later, he produced the European sequel "Europe- 99euro-films 2" and the 30 min documentary "Let it Roll," on the subculture in Oldenburg. He has also produced several films for Berlin-based director RP Kahl, including "Bedways," "A Thought of Ecstasy," and "When Susan Sontag sat in the Audience.”

Lourdes Hernández

Lourdes Hernández (Russian Red)

Russian Red is Lourdes Hernández, a singer-songwriter, performer, and artist from Madrid.Russian Red first came to prominence in her native Spain with the release of her 2008 debutalbum, I Love Your Glasses. This was followed by Fuerteventura in 2011,Agent Cooper in2014, and Karaoke in 2017, as well as extensive touring throughout Europe, Latin America,Asia, and the United States.Currently based between Los Angeles and Madrid, Lourdes continues to create music, and now also acts in film and tv, has published some of her poetry and practices intuitive card reading amongst friends.

Luis Hidalgo

Luis Hidalgo

He played a key role in introducing music documentaries to Catalonia through his work as a writer and director of the program "Sputnik" (TVC, 1992-2004). Between 2004 and 2020, he served as the artistic director of In-Edit. Born in Irún in 1956 and holding a degree in Communication Sciences, he has primarily worked for TVC and El País as a music journalist. He has also worked in radio (Ràdio Barcelona, iCat, Radio Cadena Española), magazines (Rock de Lux, Rolling Stone), and was a writer and music programming manager for the program "Plastic" (TVE, 1989-1991). Additionally, he was a professor in the postgraduate program at the Pompeu Fabra University on music criticism and served as a member of the jury for the Ciutat Barcelona Awards (2005-2008).

Marcos Cabotá

Marcos Cabotá

Director and screenwriter from Mallorca, a graduate of the New York Film Academy. The creator of films such as "Amigos" or "I Am Your Father," he is responsible for 7 feature films and 4 short films, earning him over a hundred national and international awards, including two golden Biznagas from the Malaga Film Festival and two nominations for the Goya Awards. His documentary "Sonic Fantasy," about engineer Bruce Swedien and the recording of Michael Jackson's "Thriller," won the Best National Music Documentary Award at In-Edit 2022, as well as Best Film and Best Director at the International Film Festival of Cuba.

Laura Put

Laura Put

DJ, actress, and audiovisual creator who has turned her two passions, music and the audiovisual world, into her profession. With a degree in Audiovisual Communication, she furthered her studies at the RTVE Institute, combining them with her training as an actress. In addition to DJing in clubs, festivals, and events, she works both in front of and behind the cameras. She was part of the web series "El Piso," one of the first in Spain, and is now immersed in creating music videos. In 2021, she co-directed with Roberta Nikita "25," a documentary short film that won the Jury and Audience Award at In-Edit 2022.

Mikel López Iturriaga

Mikel López Iturriaga

Nació cuando todavía no existía internet, pero ello no le ha impedido convertirse en una celebridad de Internet gracias a El Comidista, web que dirige dentro del diario El País. También colabora con el programa “Gente despierta” de RNE, estuvo durante años en “Hoy por Hoy” (Cadena SER), llegó a dirigir el programa “El Comidista TV” en laSexta, y presentó “Banana Split”, un espacio de música y gastronomía en La 2 de TVE. Antes había pasado por medios como Canal +, El País de las Tentaciones, Ya.com o ADN. Aprendió a guisar con su madre y después en la Escuela Hofmann, y aunque no pasa de aficionado, ha publicado tres recetarios. Lleva 20 años viniendo como público a In-Edit.
