Arturo Pérez Navarro
Co-founder of Vendo Cine, international distributor and sales agent. Director of Industry for the Ibero-American Film Festival Miami since 2022. Between 2007 and 2011, he collaborated with the Associated Press news agency and since 2024 has hosted the radio program dedicated to cinema 'El séptimo vicio' on Radio UdG (University of Guadalajara). He has been invited as a jury member and evaluator in various funds, as well as to give talks and workshops on international distribution and sales at various international festivals throughout his more than 15 years of experience in the industry.
Kristen Vaurio
Documentary filmmaker and producer, at In-Edit 2024 she is presenting her latest film, "June", a portrait of country music icon June Carter. Previously, she worked as a producer with Alex Gibney on the acclaimed HBO documentary 'Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief' (2015) and 'Mea Maxima Culpa: Silence in the House of God' (2012), for which she won both Emmy and Peabody Awards. Other works include the Netflix series 'Cooked', Michael Moore’s 'Capitalism, A Love Story' and 'Work: What We Do All Day’. Her productions have also been seen on Amazon, CNN, BBC and PBS.
Toby L.
A 39-year-old British filmmaker with half a lifetime working in the music industry. Founder of the music platform Rockfeedback, which evolved into a concert promoter and audiovisual producer for MTV and Channel 4, documenting concerts by Foo Fighters, Jack White, MIA, Sonic Youth, Iggy Pop, Public Enemy around the world. In 2004 he founded the label and management agency Transgressive, working with artists such as Foals, At The Drive-In, Graham Coxon, Regina Spektor, The Shins or Iron & Wine. He has directed music videos for Rihanna, Olivia Rodrigo, Bastille and Liam Gallagher. In In-Edit 2024 he is presenting his latest documentaries: ‘Blur: To The End’ y ‘Blur: Live At Wembley Stadium’.

Laia Aubia de Higes
Holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication and a Postgraduate degree in Cultural Management from UPF. For 3years, she worked as a researcher and teacher at UPF and in the creation of the Audiovisual Production Observatory (OPA). Between 2007 and 2010, she coordinated the Barcelona-Catalonia Film Commission. Between 2010 and 2018, she directed the distribution area of the DocsBarcelona Festival and its exhibition network in 90+ theaters in Spain, Chile, and Colombia. During this period, she assumed the executive production of the festival and its industry area, and was part of the programming committee from 2017. Since 2018, she is the director of the Catalan Film Academy.
Marta Medina del Valle
Holds a degree in Journalism (UVa) and a diploma in Film Directing (ECAM). She is the screenwriter of 'Asedio' (2023), directed by Miguel Ángel Vivas. Her project 'Laponia' has participated in the Film Academy Residencies and is currently in development with LaZona. She is currently shooting her first documentary, 'El último arrebato', produced by 39 Escalones. She works as a script reader for Caramel Films. Since 2016, she is responsible for film criticism in the newspaper El Confidencial. She also collaborates with Historia de nuestro cine, Carne Cruda, and has co-hosted the film analysis program 'El último programa' on RTVE Play.
Pepe Colubi
Asturian, born in 1966. He has been collaborating with various media outlets (newspapers, magazines, radio, television) for far too long. Since 2008, he has been a regular on the TV show Ilustres Ignorantes (Movistar Plus) and has maintained a column in Cinemanía magazine since 2007. He has published the novels California 83, Chorromoco 91, and Dispersión (available from Booket), as well as several essays on TV (La Tele que me Parió, Planeta Rosa, ¡Pechos Fuera!) and music (El Ritmo de las Tribus). He also hosts the reggae music podcast The Bucket (Radio Primavera Sound). He is also a big fan of afternoon snacks.
NATIONAL SHORT FILM JURY
Fèlix Colomer Vallès
Director, screenwriter, and editor born in Sabadell in 1993, graduated from ESCAC. He directs documentary series and films. His most important works are Vitals (2021), a series about Covid-19, and Les vides de Fèlix (2023), both for HBO. He has also made the film Shootball (2017), about the Marist pedophilia case, and two films about an Ukrainian family arriving in Spain fleeing the war (Sasha and Huir, 2016 and 2022). In the field of fiction, he has directed the short film MAR (2019) and has developed two fiction series projects. He directs the Documentary Master's program at ESCAC, where he also teaches.
Marta Mei
Marta holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication and a postgraduate degree in Music Business Management. She worked at Razzmatazz in the booking department, programming her own music cycle: "Un altre dijous". She was a national and international booker at Èxits Produccions & Management and later a programmer and coordinator at the Centre Cultural Albareda. She has also collaborated in festivals such as Cruïlla, Creamfields Andalucía, Poparb, or Clownia Festival. She currently directs the Casa de la Música of L'Hospitalet and is an artistic director advisor for the FiM Vila-seca.
