The musical documentary film festival In-Edit confirms the first 16 titles for its XXII edition in Barcelona, which will take place from October 23 to November 3, and tickets are now on sale. Already shaping up to be one of the best collections of musical documentaries in recent years, this first programming announcement features protagonists such as Blur, Die Antwoord, Devo, The Black Keys, Simple Minds, Brian Jones, The Mars Volta, Genesis P-Orridge, Nina Simone, Max Roach, Abbey Lincoln, and Swamp Dogg.
As for Catalan and Spanish productions, the first batch of titles includes stories about the legendary Zeleste club, the black metal scene in Barcelona, the identity conflict between Marisol and Pepa Flores, a tribute to the flamenco legacy of the Sacromonte neighborhood in Granada, and the traumatic Eurovision experience of the boyband D’Nash.
