Joana Mallwitz – Momentum

Joana Mallwitz is an orchestra conductor. A profession that many still consider to be the domain of men. Discovered early on as an exceptional talent, she became Europe’s youngest general music director before becoming principal conductor of the Konzerthausorchester Berlin in August 2023. The film accompanies her on her journey over two years as she embarks on a decisive phase of her international career, with debuts in Munich, Paris, Salzburg and Amsterdam. At the same time, she and her husband have to reorganise their lives after the birth of their first child.
