Accessibility

We are committed to the right of access to culture. Each year, we make it possible for more groups, regardless of their needs, to access the cinema and our programming. We want In-Edit to be inclusive.

To achieve this, we strive to reduce barriers in our environment, whether physical, attitudinal, or communicative.

In 2023, we conducted an accessibility consultancy, and the results can be viewed HERE.

Our objectives for 2024 include:

  1. Accessible Festival Website: We are adapting our website to meet accessibility criteria and obtain AA certification.
  2. Accessible Ticketing:. Our ticketing system adheres to the following accessibility criteria:
    – Ensures sufficient contrast between elements according to WCAG 2.2 (level AA).
    – Allows any page to be zoomed up to 200% (a requirement for level AA).
    – Includes accessibility attributes to facilitate navigation with voice readers.
    – Includes accessibility attributes to facilitate autocomplete in forms.
  3. Accessible Festival Information Point del festival i senyalització accessible.
  4. Awareness: In-Edit runs specific awareness campaigns about accessibility aimed to our audience. Our website also serves as a platform to spread our commitments.
  5. Subtitling for the Deaf: Subtitles for the deaf will be provided for 2 of the titles in the festival program.
  6. Audio Description for the Blind: Audio descriptions will be available for 7 national documentaries.
  7. Partnerships: Agreements with organizations such as ONCE will help us share our accessible content with their members.

Accessibility Features in Theaters:

Mooby Aribau Theater 5:

  1. Ticket Service and Festival Information Point: Accessible.
  2. Access to Theater 5: Stair lift platform with a maximum weight limit of 300 kg.
  3. Restrooms: Not accessible. Accessible restrooms are available in Theaters 1 to 4, located just opposite Theater 5.
  4. Reserved Seats for Wheelchairs: Not available. Wheelchair placement is in the aisle.

 

Mooby Aribau Theaters 1 to 4:

  1. Ticket Service and Festival Information Point: Accessible.
  2. Access to Theaters: Elevator.
  3. Restrooms: Accessible restroom on the ground floor.
  4. Reserved Seats for Wheelchairs: Yes, 2 per theater.
