Discover the program of the 23rd edition of In-Edit Barcelona

In-Edit is back, the International Music Documentary Film Festival in Barcelona — the place to discover great stories from the world of music, exploring a wide range of musical genres, from funk to electronic, including salsa, metal, experimental music, punk fusion, contemporary and 80s pop, singer-songwriters, jazz, and classical music.

This year, you’ll be able to discover 71 titles divided into 7 sections, with a total of 115 screenings. We’ll have 17 premieres, 4 European premieres, 24 national premieres, and 16 premieres in Catalonia.

This year, the Festival will bring unheard stories of nationally and internationally renowned bands and artists — stories unknown even to their most loyal fans. It will also spotlight key figures in music history who haven’t received the recognition they deserve and are well worth rediscovering, while also focusing on great artists who have built their careers alongside well-knwon personalities.

It will showcase powerful documentaries that explore the lives of artists who have built their identity through music; highlight films that use comedy as a narrative vehicle; take a closer look at music from Latin America; and set space to works that play with the conventions of documentary storytelling, blurring its boundaries.

It will also be a space to enjoy musical experiences on the big screen and will maintain its commitment to local talent and the city of Barcelona, with a strong presence of films starring, directed, and produced by Catalan talent. This year, music in the cinema will play a bigger role than ever, accompanying many of the documentary screenings.

You can now explore the full program on the Festival’s website, purchase festival passes and packages, and exchange them for tickets.

Starting this Thursday, October 2nd, all individual tickets and special sessions will be available.
