In-Edit brings together music, audiovisual creation and performing arts this summer with BASS

This summer, the In-Edit Festival is collaborating with BASS – Barcelona Arts Summer School, an international artistic creation lab promoted by ESCAC, ESMUC and the Institut del Teatre, which will take place in Barcelona from July 5 to July 19. This collaboration is part of In-Edit LAB, a festival program dedicated to fostering talent and professional development in the field of music audiovisual production.

BASS is a two-week artistic creation lab that combines audiovisual creation, music and performing arts in an interdisciplinary and international environment. The initiative will bring together 150 young creators, both local and international, organized into diverse teams and guided by leading professionals from the sector.

Participating mentors include names such as Alberto Velasco, Edurne Arizu, Lolo & Sosaku and Zamira Pasceri. Throughout the program, participants will develop collaborative projects that connect different artistic languages and encourage new forms of contemporary creation.

BASS will culminate with the presentation of the final projects within the framework of the Grec Festival of Barcelona, through the Grec Jove program, as well as with the screening of short pieces at the In-Edit Festival. This dual platform will allow participants to showcase their work in real professional contexts.

Through this collaboration, In-Edit reinforces its commitment to emerging talent, interdisciplinary creation, and supporting new generations of audiovisual creators.
