In-Edit and Apolo launch an international music video award and the summer film series CineClub 113.

The In-Edit Festival and Sala Apolo are entering a new phase of collaboration with the creation of the first Apolo Award for Best Music Video.

This initiative, open both nationally and internationally, aims to highlight the talent behind the creation of this audiovisual format, which has become a breeding ground for professionals, generating new languages and connecting audiences worldwide.

This new section within the In-Edit Festival seeks to recognize the creativity, innovation, and work of the creators involved in producing this format, giving visibility to a key sector within the audiovisual and music industry.

The selected music videos, chosen by a professional jury, will be screened during In-Edit Barcelona 2026, and the winner will be announced at the festival’s closing ceremony. Submissions for this new section will be open until September 1, 2026, and the rules can be consulted at this link.

As part of this partnership, In-Edit and Sala Apolo also announce a new open-air film series that will take place every Monday in July and August in Sala 3, the venue’s only open-air space.

Under the title ‘CineClub 113’, in reference to the venue’s iconic number on Nou de la Rambla street, the program will offer a journey through Latin music and club culture, delivering a unique experience that blends cinema and music culture in one of the city’s most emblematic and distinctive spaces

The film screenings will be accompanied by DJ sets related to the theme of each movie. The full program, which will include a total of nine films, will be announced at the end of May.

With this dual initiative, In-Edit and Sala Apolo reinforce their commitment to promoting music and audiovisual culture, embracing new formats and creating spaces for connection between creators and audiences.
