A daughter sets out to uncover the truth about who her father really was: a legendary musician who died when she was only 8 years old. He is Antonio Flores; she is Alba Flores, now a celebrated actress in her own right. Alba stopped singing when she lost Antonio, and now she prepares to reclaim her voice, seeking to reconcile her own story with the one she inherited. For the first time, she turns to her mother (Ana Villa), her aunts Lolita and Rosario Flores, and to friends, musicians, and lifelong companions. The film blends unpublished material—home videos, photographs, drawings, rehearsals—into a moving exercise in family memory and musicality, asking what it means to grow up “among echoes” of an absent father.
