Discover the In-Edit Barcelona 2026 jury

From October 29 to November 8, In-Edit, the Barcelona International Music Documentary Film Festival, returns. In this 24th edition, a team of culture and audiovisual professionals will award the festival’s 5 official prizes.

The national jury, responsible for choosing the best national feature film, will consist of filmmaker Elena Molina, winner of In-Edit 2025 with Flores para Antonio; Xavier Cervantes, head of culture at the newspaper ARA; and Elena Oroz, professor at the Carlos III University of Madrid specializing in documentary cinema.

In the international section, those responsible for choosing the best feature film will be Pavel Cortés, director of Mexico’s FICG; producer Davide Mastropaolo, founder of Audioimage; and director Amanda Sans.

Meanwhile, the selection of short films will be in the hands of Joan Rial, artistic director of the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic; Los Prieto Flores (Borja Prieto and Natalia Flores), creators of the audiovisual fanzine and creative agency Está Pasando; and film editor and director Ana Pfaff.

Finally, this year’s big new addition, the first APOLO Award for Best Music Video, will be awarded by Alberto Guijarro, cultural journalist Laura Sangrà, and CANADA executive producer Víctor Mata.

The winners will be revealed on Saturday, November 7, during the closing gala.
