An audiovisual chronicle of a moment when music became the cry of a people hungry for freedom. Between the autumn of 1975 and February 1976, with Francoism dying yet still enforcing fierce repression, Barcelona’s Palau d’Esports hosted five historic concerts by Raimon, Lluís Llach, and Quico Pi de la Serra. Weaving together past and present, this documentary recovers valuable archival footage by Francesc Bellmunt, never-before-seen images, and moving photographic iconography. Through the testimonies of citizens, activists, musicians, and Nova Cançó experts—alongside contemporary reinterpretations of classics like “Diguem no” or “L’home del carrer”—the film constructs a choral and deeply relevant reflection on the role of culture in the face of fascism.
