Like a breath of fresh air from the undergrowth, Remei de Ca la Fresca arrive: Xantal, Artur, Víctor, and Iago, four youths from Arbúcies who—with an unclassifiable sound swaying between visceral rock, psychedelia, folk, and spoken word—shake things up, pose questions, and crack open new spaces. Upriver, while they sing, major bottling companies drain the aquifers of Montseny, extracting millions of liters of water daily, as the neighborhood collective AiguaClara stands up to them. Up close and intimate, this documentary accompanies the band on and off stage: rehearsals, concerts, tour life, as well as their commitment and love for the land.
