In the collective imaginary, dark glasses and a song, “Los Campanilleros”, are present as identity symbols of La Niña de la Puebla. But few know the true personality and importance of this unique artist. Her music, her bravery, and her commitment, despite her blindness, make her a benchmark as a woman and a 20th-century flamenco artist. This documentary portrays Dolores Jiménez (La Niña de La Puebla) through the eyes of her granddaughter, actress Adelfa Calvo. It is the story of the creative process that Adelfa began when she was very young by recording interviews with her grandmother, and which now, 25 years after her death, she has decided to complete.
