An 18-year-old musician decides to design a cybernetic organ and find a surgeon willing to implant it, despite the illegal nature of the procedure. In doing so, he aims to acquire a new sense that will allow him to translate the subatomic particles in the atmosphere into musical notes for composition. The documentary follows his transition from human to cyborg, a personal process that generates unease and suspicion but also hope and kinship, and embodies bioethical questions that no longer belong in the realm of science fiction.
