Through the conception and staging of the album El perro andaluz (2022), a project inspired by the little-known poetic work of filmmaker Luis Buñuel, the Granada rock band Lagartija Nick invites us on a journey through the works and characters of the 20th-century avant-garde that have influenced them over their 30-year career. Songs and conversations intertwine with the legacy of Buñuel, Lorca, Dalí, Val del Omar, and the Generation of ’27, as they explain their choice of texts and the reason behind each sound and instrument in their latest creative challenge.

After the screening of the documentary ‘Generación Lagartija’, which explores their major artistic influences (Buñuel, Lorca, Dalí, Val del Omar), the band Lagartija Nick will perform an intimate set in trio format: Antonio Arias, Eric Jiménez, and Juan Codorniú.
