And exactly 10 years ago, In-Edit opened its 14th edition with this documentary on the creative process behind that milestone in the fusion of flamenco and rock, and of 20th-century Spanish music—misunderstood and controversial at the time. Through archival footage and key firsthand accounts—including members of Lagartija Nick, the Morente clan, Alberto Manzano, and Tomatito—the documentary portrays the tensions, cultural clash, initial incomprehension, and creative genius that made it possible. Omega was not just an album, but a family affair and the struggle of artists defending their vision against all odds.
