Beyond the journey of rise, fall, and redemption of one of the greatest bailaores of all time, this is the intimate and visceral story of one of flamenco’s most influential Roma dynasties: the Farruco family. The film traces the artistic legacy inherited by Farruquito from his grandfather, his meteoric leap from child prodigy to international icon, and the weight of tragedies and missteps that have marked his life. Through candid confessions, Farruquito confronts the indelible imprint of his past and explores the transmission of the family’s art into the fourth generation, embodied by his son. A moving play of mirrors around a flamenco dynasty in constant search of the eternal successor.
