This session features the final short films of the Talent program, an activity carried out by Acció>Cinema project, which highlights audiovisual media as an effective tool for social transformation, contributing to the construction of critical and responsible citizenship. Since June, the young team have been recording their first music documentary, promoted by Catalunya Film Festivals in collaboration with the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation, the Cruïlla festival, AVisual, and Reteena. This year, the documentaries feature the groups gavina.mp3 and Trashi.

gavina.mp3
Amid cigarette smoke, seagulls, and the murky sea of the Parc del Fòrum, there’s more than just the image of a hipster poet who now fronts a band: gavina.mp3. This piece follows Max Codinach during his concert at Cruïlla festival, in the midst of promoting his debut album, revealing an artist who lives between bones and stars, between stillness and movement. Everything seems on the verge of stopping… but it’s only the prelude to what’s to come.

Trashi
Trashi is a band formed by four childhood friends whose inner world is steeped in nostalgia. In the short film “nos acordaremos de todo”—a title inspired by their debut album “me acuerdo de todo”—they look back on their beginnings and how those early days shaped their music today. The group, originally from Murcia, embarks on a festival tour, with Cruïlla providing the perfect moment to revisit the past while looking ahead to the future.
