Hand in hand with Eduardo R. Rodway, founding member of Triana who passed away this past September 26, this film opens the door to the history of one of the most defining acts in Spanish music and an indisputable pillar of the fusion between rock and flamenco. More than half a century ago, three musicians—Jesús de la Rosa, Juan José Palacios “Tele,” and Eduardo—defied the initial rejection of record labels to shape the genuine sound of Andalusian rock. Through intergenerational testimonies—from Kiko Veneno to Anni B Sweet, from Bunbury to Derby Motoreta’s Burrito Kachimba—and acoustic reinterpretations, we explore an invaluable legacy that continues to beat in contemporary creation. It is not a biographical chronicle, but rather the eternal light of a cult band, a sound phenomenon—melancholic and poetic—that still moves and inspires.
