The In-Edit Festival will feature a top-tier jury that will evaluate and award the prizes for Best National Music Documentary, Best International Music Documentary, Best National Music Documentary Short Film and Best International Music Documentary Short Film. The awards will be announced at the Festival Closing Ceremony on Saturday, November 1st.
The National Music Documentary jury will include artist Paula Ribó (Rigoberta Bandini), co-founder of Little Spain Cris Trenas, and director and co-founder of Alina Films, David Epiney.
The International Music Documentary jury will include Jean Cosme-Delaloye, international director and producer; Jordi Sánchez-Navarro, professor, researcher, and expert in visual culture and film; and Celia Humez-Kabadanian, Development Manager of the Marseille International Music and Film Festival.
In the National and International Musical Documentary Short Films section, we will find Claudia Arribas, sociologist and filmmaker, screenwriter, and director of the audiovisual production company Bruna; Julia Girós, documentary filmmaker, photographer, and video jockey, winner of the Best National Documentary Short Film section at the In-Edit 2024 Festival; and Pablo Gil Rituerto, film editor and director of documentaries, including La Marseillaise des Borrachos, a film that received a special mention from the national jury at In-Edit 2024.
Last but not least, In-Edit reserves the Audience Award for Best Documentary with the support of El Periódico. After each screening of the films included in the Official Section, attendees will be able to vote and thus contribute to selecting this year’s winning documentary
