This edition returns the usual collaboration between the initiative Acció>Cinema and the In-Edit Festival. This year it returns in a round table format, and is entitled Resonances: Music, Memory, and Future of the Global South Through Documentary. It will be accompanied by a young creation workshop.
It is aimed at the participation of young people between 16 and 25 years old, interested in music, audiovisual and the worldwide culture; to document the round table of this year, which explores Nigerian music and its globalization. All to generate a space for learning, connection and a decolonial look.
The round table will be held on the following Saturday, October 31, between the screenings of Wizkid, Long live Lagos and Konkombe: The Nigerian Pop Music Scene.
This edition will once again have a series of titles related to a global south perspective:
- Para vivir: el tiempo implacable de Pablo Milanés
- The Blind Couple From Mali
- Calambre: En la cancha se ven los gallos
- Nicaragua necessita una cançó
- Palestinian Vibes
- Agridulce
They tell personal and musical stories that offer a story through local and global political, social and economic turbulence.
An initiative promoted by Catalunya Film Festivals in collaboration with the Catalan Agency for Development Cooperation, the Department of Culture of Catalonia, Festival Reteena, and Festival Wallay!.
