INTERNATIONAL OFFICIAL SECTION

A sensorial and poetic journey into the universe of Hermeto Pascoal, the great Brazilian wizard of contemporary music, who passed away last September. Structured around three threads—the recording of a concert at age 88, a dive into his childhood and emotional memory, and an interview culminating in what he did best: creating music. Albino, with severely limited sight but boundless curiosity, Pascoal transformed every sound and every sensation into melody, weaving together jazz, Brazilian popular rhythms, and an overflowing dose of experimentation. Beneath layers of unusual harmonies and humor-filled anecdotes lies an essential invitation: to listen to and feel music—and life—with the same intensity, beyond theories, labels, and artifices.
