With more than 25 performances, music in the cinema will have more prominence than ever in this edition, with DJ sets and live musical showcases and musical experiences on the big screen before and after the screening of the films.

Curated by the Festival’s artistic directors, along with Richard Royuela and DJ2D2, these musical experiences have been designed to accompany each of the selected documentaries, offering the public the chance to enjoy the best music in the cinema and, at the same time, discover some of the city’s talents.

From the bakala electronic music of DJ Frank to the pop of Siria DJ (resident at Razzmatazz’s Mandanga parties) and the Brazilian sound of Amarelo (Brazilian Obscure Music). The line-up will be followed by the hardcore of Gabdiedge DJ (Can’t Keep Us Down) and the rock of Excalibrator (Avern), the indie-rock of Radio Amistad (Sidecar), vinyl DJ sets by El Palmas, DJ Swet (Razzmatazz) and Stein (Draft), and the pre-recorded set by Pendergastronómico Sònic. We will also have the icon of Barcelona electronic music, Ángel Molina, the urban sound of La Sofi (Razzmatazz, Salamandra), the dark tropical rhythms of Phran (Klasse Wrecks / Vimana / ACA), the house and techno icon DJ Bruce Lee (End Of DaJdk/R (Razzmatazz), the funk groove of DJ2D2 (Razzmatazz) and the sensitivity of Dani Vega (Mishima).

Among the live performances, the group Duendes del Parke will play at the sessions of national short films with their contemporary sound, and three films will have a post-screening show by Gitano de Balaguer (El carro pel pedregar), the Coro Taller Obert (Musica Urgent) and Admire (Road to Apolo: Admire).
