Are you between 18 and 25 years old and passionate about audiovisual storytelling, music, or documentary filmmaking?
Applications are now open for the 9th edition of Talent by In-Edit LAB, the free training programme in music documentary short film production organised by In-Edit Festival, in collaboration with the Cruïlla Festival, AVisual, and the Reteena Festival.
The programme includes a series of training sessions covering key aspects of documentary filmmaking, such as music documentaries, screenwriting, music rights management in audiovisual productions, and the use of audiovisual tools as a driver for local and global social transformation from a gender and human rights perspective.
Participants will put their newly acquired knowledge into practice by producing two documentary short films during Festival Cruïlla, where they will have the opportunity to work alongside artists and bands performing at the festival. The completed films will then premiere before an audience at the 24th edition of In-Edit Barcelona.
The open call is now live and will remain open until 21 June. If you would like to be part of this experience and gain first-hand insight into the process of creating a music documentary, this is your opportunity!
Selected participants will be announced on Monday, 29 June.
