The film ‘Omega Wants to Dance’, by In-Edit Films, opens in cinemas this weekend

The documentary ‘Omega Wants to Dance’, produced by In-Edit Films with associate production by CaixaForum+ and Konga Music Agency, will hit cinemas this weekend. It will have its official premiere on 5, 6 and 7 December at Espai Texas and will then be screened at Cine Maldà on 19, 20, 21 and 22 December. The documentary has recently been selected as a nominee for Best Documentary at the 18th edition of the Premis Gaudí

Directed by filmmaker Ramon Tort, ‘Omega Wants to Dance’ explores humanity’s relationship with movement and consciousness from a global perspective. The documentary features contributions from internationally renowned figures such as Sara Baras, Prof. Didier Queloz (Nobel Prize), Daniel Odier, Kyoka, Joaquín de Luz, Dakei Noutan, Triana Ramos, Roberto Fratini, Lucia Horan, Luis Costa, Ana Rokafella & Gabriel Kwikstep, Goyo and Dr. Luján Comas.

The film has been selected by international festivals such as the prestigious DOC NYC, in its Kaleidoscope Competition, the UK’s Portobello Film Festival, and Italy’s Parma International Music Film Festival. It was recently awarded the Excellent Award from the ARTE Docs selection at the EIDF (EBS International Documentary Festival) in Seoul.

This success reinforces the trajectory of In-Edit Films and the Festival In-Edit’s commitment to promoting talent on a national and international scale through its In-Edit LAB program. Next February, starting on Thursday the 26th, the documentary film will arrive on CaixaForum+, a culture and science dissemination platform promoted by the ”la Caixa” Foundation.
