From November 17 to December 1, the In-Edit Festival presents its online edition at CaixaForum+, featuring 16 music documentaries available via free streaming. The selection spans genres, styles, and stories that connect the past and present of music.
Highlights include Latin music with La Salsa Vive, Brasiliana, and O Menino d’Olho d’Água; essential musical figures like Meredith Monk (Monk In Pieces), Judee Sill (Lost Angel), Sun Ra (Do The Impossible), and Mariem Hassan (Mariem); as well as popular and electronic genres with Fandango, Legacy, We Want The Funk!, Alma Bakala, and Rave.
The program also features intimate and socially-focused cinema with Half Moon and God Said Give ‘Em Drum Machines, closing with Daytime Revolution, recounting the week John Lennon and Yoko Ono co-hosted the Mike Douglas Show (1972).
