The 150 young creators from BASS (Barcelona Arts Summer School) fuse cinema, music, and performing arts in an intensive program that will culminate in the screening of their short pieces at the upcoming edition of the In-Edit Festival.
The BASS sessions, which took place from July 5 to 19, served as a platform for contemporary creation promoted by ESCAC, ESMUC, and the Institut del Teatre. For two weeks, participants worked at the intersection of different artistic disciplines. This entire collective creation process was guided by prestigious mentors such as filmmaker Erika Lust, musician Edi Pou, and choreographer Sol Picó, among others.
As a result, participants had the opportunity to live an immersive experience within an international context. The ultimate goal was to shape a series of short pieces bridging live arts and the audiovisual world. The resulting short films will be presented and screened on the big screen during the next edition of the In-Edit Festival, taking place from October 29 to November 8, 2026.
