In-Edit Festival strengthens its international presence with its participation in the 2026 Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), taking place from April 17 to 25. In this context, In-Edit Festival is involved in the curation of the ‘Son de Cine In-Edit’ section, where it presents five titles that reflect the diversity of the contemporary music landscape.
The titles featured in this 41st edition are:
- Nova ‘78 (2025), by Aaron Brookner and Rodrigo Areias, which revisits the effervescence of New York’s counterculture around the Nova Convention 1978.
- Agridulce (2025), by Frank Pavich, focused on young bachata musicians in Cabarete.
- Los mejores años de nuestra vida (2026), by Charlie Arnaiz and Alberto Ortega, about the trajectory of Hombres G.
- Rosana: mejor vivir sin miedo (2026), starring Rosana and co-directed by Javier Palomo.
- Cuando nadie me ve (2026), by Álvaro Ron, with Alejandro Sanz as its narrative axis.
In-Edit’s involvement goes beyond programming. Through its In-Edit LAB initiative, aimed at fostering talent and promoting the professionalization of music documentaries, the festival develops a range of activities. Within the framework of FICG 2026, this commitment takes shape in the support for the internationalization of projects, with the participation of the Catalan production company ATOMIC, which has been granted a fellowship to access industry spaces with the aim of increasing its visibility and exploring new opportunities for international collaboration.
